Katharine Vega

Katharine Vega has received professional residencies at Centre for Affective Sciences Geneva, Atlantic Center for the Arts, Blast Theory UK, SCANZ and London festival Lost Senses. She has received grants from Arts Council England and her work received exposure at London’s Science Museum, Brighton Digital Festival and Technology is Not Neutral.

She creates media performance, interactive art and games experiments playfully investigating the flexible relationship between the real and imagined and the life-giving potentials of creative technology.

The work brings experimental performance and storytelling together with immersive and interactive technologies, so that the audience’s perception, movement and participation become a vital part of the action.
